It was another day, another slay for Anime Expo 2025!
Taking place over the long Fourth of July weekend, cosplayers from all over the world gathered in Downtown Los Angeles’s Convention Center to be together and celebrate aanything and everything having to do with Japanese animation (and the people who make it possible)!
Aside from the star-studded panels, the epic entertainment, the well-attended artists alley, and all the shopping to be done, one of the best things about a con of this size is getting to be in community with folks who share similar interests to you, and a lot of friendship and camaraderie was going down at AX ’25!
Gold Envelope had the privilege of attending and covering all of the anime-themed festivities this year, and when we weren’t exploring the grounds or asking folks hot takes on topics like the word “weeb” and which anime people love (and not love!), we spent a large chunk of the four-day convention admiring the creativity of cosplayers who turned out some pretty epic, creative, and downright swoon-worthy looks this year!
